Android Market Login
Android market login requires Gmail account. You need to open new gmail account or use
existing Gmail account. Problem comes when you have enabled 2 step verification.
Your Gmail credentials would not be useful any more here. You need to login at www.google.com.
Meaning is, you can’t use your Google password to login at Market or Gmail on third party client.
Solution: once you login to www.google.com, click on Account settings.
Account overview page will look like below one.
Click on Authorize applications and sites.
It will redirect you to login again at www.google.com. But this time you need to provide
your verification code received on mobile via SMS or voice call after login.
The page will show you to enter application name or name of website and you will get
disposable password. You don’t need to remember this password.
Open your android market on mobile and use the auto generated password.
once done you need not verify again and again for browsing android market or android Google applications.
It is very important to safe guard your password using Google 2- steps verification.
This will protect your original password from being shared or hacked some how by Third party websites or from hackers. How to use Google 2 – step verification is better explained here in below post.
